

Capstone Campaign
For my senior capstone project, my group and I were told to pick a brand from a list and create an entire advertising campaign over the course of a semester. When looking at this list we saw Jiffy mixes, a brand that has never paid for advertising, and saw it as a fun challenge!
Over the next five months, we generated both primary and secondary research, made a creative brief, and created an entire campaign. After our research, we concluded that many people had seen Jiffy in their pantry and at family gatherings before.
We also found that Jiffy mix lacked brand awareness, and most people thought of Jiffy Lube when hearing the name Jiffy. With that being said our goal for the campaign was to design a series of advertisements that portray Jiffy mix as being present at all occasions. The advertisements would have a simple design with the headline creating brand awareness as well as showing the importance of remembering Jiffy mix through every moment in life. Our campaign was called "Don't Forget the Jiffy."
The final campaign included print and social media ads, a TV commercial, guerrilla marketing, out-of-home advertisements, and product placement. I took on their social media accounts. I created an Instagram account, feed, and posts.
